The day started with a double morning class of Research Methodology subject. And after that, continuing with a lesson for Critical and Creative thinking. Here's the story began;
Encik Mohd Nasir Masroom is the lecturer in charge of this subject. Right from he first entering our class, I know that he was really different from other lecturer, like he greetes us with a cheery " Good Morning". But before that, this thought also came across in my mind that he might be a strict lecturer by his physical apperiance which has bold head. A bit amusing for me as I notice the startled or strange expressions that some of my classmates gave to him. I know I should not easily jump into any solid statement because he is actually far from that. He is always a person who always sustain the cheerfulness and a person with a smile on his face. Yet, he is no doubt has an attractive personality that draws students to like his style of lecture like a magnet.
Along the first class, he explains to us on how the lesson can achieve aims outlined. He is not merely lecture and ''cram'' information down our throats, but adding with his good sense of humour, make me broaden my understanding better.Then,he ask us to form a group consists of atleast 5 persons. Instead of telling us which group are we in, he put his trust on us by letting we choose our own group member.It was a mess around 5 minutes as we shout towards each other like " weh, ko nak masuk group aku tak". Its like the frequent activity we always happened to do but still the situation still remain like we never experience with that kind of forming group. So, in the end, my group member are badik, dila, tikah, yen and myself. Only five of us. Not only that, our second task is to create our own blog individually. I personally begin to think that this kind of medium will stimulate our creativity and independent thinking.
It is someone like Mr Mohd Nasir who makes students feel that the tough subject is such a nice subject to deal with. Thankyou Dr for providing us with a soothing environment for learning. I'm really looking forward to start on writing again and cannot wait to see this subject unlocks many possibilities in life.
Till then,
